WELCOME TO THE TEA HOUSE THEATRE

An independent tea house, theatre and events venue in the heart of Vauxhall.

Housed in a beautiful Victorian former pub beside the historic Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens, the Tea House Theatre is a place to eat, drink, meet, work, relax and be entertained.

By day, settle in for exceptional loose-leaf tea, hearty breakfasts, proper sandwiches, homemade cakes and freshly prepared food. By night, the Tea House comes alive with theatre, live music, jazz, poetry, murder mysteries and special events throughout the year.

We are trying to be different. We will not hurry you. If you visit us on your lunch break, then have one — take your time, enjoy your food and go back to work properly refreshed. If you want to have a meeting, we will leave you to it. If you are “working from home”, we have Wi-Fi and plenty of space to settle in.

If you have children, we have highchairs, a chest of toys and milkshakes. We always have the daily papers, so please relax, take a load off and share in what we are trying to create.

There is no rush, no corporate formula and — famously — no coffee. Just good tea, good food, conversation, creativity and a wonderfully individual atmosphere.

Come for breakfast or lunch, spend an afternoon over a pot of tea, join us for dinner and a show, or simply come in and have a cuppa.

Park and Lane on Air (Christmas Special)

Park and Lane On Air, Christmas Special!

Starring Dan Graylyons and Simon James

Written by Dan Graylyons, Simon James and Jack Gunn

£10 (per ticket)

Park and Lane are a comedy duo comprised of Dan Graylyons and Simon James. Their 'On Air’ show carries on the grand traditions of great radio comedy of the past, such as the Goon Show, Round the Horn, the Navy Lark and Hancock’s Half Hour etc.

With Christmas just around the corner like a sex offender waiting for his prey, Park and Lane are also waiting around the corner with their own unique brand-of comic mayhem to entertain you for the festive season.

Make Park and Lane part of your Yuletude this year, like yellow snow on your doorstep and ice-skating cars on the roads.

Join the lads as they reverse their comedy sled into the golden age of British radio humour, those good old post-war years when life was simpler, people were just happy to be not dead and TV was astronomically expensive, which meant radio was king and will be again…

"We wish to point out in the strongest terms that Park and Lane (Mr Dan Graylyons and Mr Simon James) have at no time been accused, convicted or in any way implicated in illegal sexual acts. In fact, they rarely get to indulge in legal ones, for that matter. Furthermore, they neither condone nor excuse the behaviour of certain celebrities from the 1970's and have never knowingly worked for the BBC."
